We do not currently have any open internship positions for summer 2019.
We are excited to take this time to fully embrace the many exciting ideas and opportunities for the future of our summer program, and look forward to re-launching a robust and enriched program in summer 2020! This summer we will have fewer opportunities than in summers past and a less centralized approach to intern programming, though there will be opportunities for interns to meet and collaborate with each other, and there will be exposure to and the chance to learn about cross-Center research. To create space for a deep and continued evaluation and evolution of our summer internship program, in summer 2019 we are taking the approach we take with our academic year internships, and each position is individually designed and managed by the hiring project. Over the years, we have experimented with different formats in order to create impactful learning opportunities for our interns, for our staff, and for the benefit of our growing field. We have hosted a summer internship program with excitement for over a decade, during which time the program has grown organically and exponentially - we have worked with and learned from hundreds of tremendously talented students who have contributed meaningfully to the Center and our activities, have productively challenged the Center to take on new conversations, areas of interest, and approaches to our work.and have grown into wonderful colleagues well beyond their initial time with us. Should you have interest in multiple positions, please feel welcome to apply for each role separately according to the instructions listed on that page. Specific roles, tasks, and experiences vary depending on the Center's needs and interns' skills.Įach position listed below will bring you to a page that will share information about the position’s responsibilities, desired qualifications for applicants, time commitments, and more, as well as instructions for applying for that role. Becoming invaluable contributors to the Center’s operation and success, interns conduct collaborative and independent research under the guidance of Berkman Klein staff, fellows, and faculty.
